Tree of Life Awakenings Series - Disney’s Animal Kingdom

The Tree of Life awakens every evening for audiences at Disney's Animal Kingdom park. Consisting of 6 4-5 minute short films plus dozens of interstitials, this nightly show brings to life the spirit of the animals carved into the tree. This project was the studio's first experience overseeing a heavy CG character animation pipeline. As Media Producer, it held my feet to the fire and required me to think 12 steps ahead every single day. From sourcing an entirely new pool of talent to ensuring that our render pipeline was carefully managed to push through such complex scenes, it proved a critical training platform for how to adapt a studio's production methods to work with new mediums and technology that have never been tested within an existing pipeline before.
